The Brief

Equi Botanics is a vegan hair product brand. When we began working on their SEO, we started with implementing a strategy that would give us the best possible chance to rank for competitive commercial terms in the long run, whilst also picking up easy wins for more niche focussed terms in the short term. 

This strategy has paid off nicely, with highly competitive terms on category pages finally beginning to show real potential of ranking in the top spots over the coming months. To top this off, we have seen success already with those less competitive but still highly valuable commercial intent terms.

In regards to content creation, we were lucky enough that some relevant content had already been uploaded to the site. This meant, the first month was focussed on optimising this content to rank, whilst siloing effectively through internal linking. Since then, we have created semantically relevant content which has supported our money keywords to rank, whilst also generating a lot of TOF content for new audiences to be captured.
